Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026
Not Touching is a puzzle game published by Hallows Group, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who helps us run it, and how you can delete your data. If you have a question, write to support@nottouching.app.
The short version. You can play without an account, and then nothing we receive identifies you. We collect anonymous gameplay events to improve the puzzles, and crash reports to fix bugs. If you choose to sign in, we store your game progress so it follows you between devices. We show no ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
What we collect
Gameplay events (everyone)
When you start, finish or leave a puzzle, the app sends an anonymous event: which kind of puzzle it was, how hard it was, how long it took, which hint level you used, the level number, the mode, and how many reveals you used. Events are grouped by a random session code that changes every time you open the app and is never stored on your device. They contain no name, email, account, advertising ID or device ID. We use them to check that the puzzles are as easy or hard as intended.
Crash reports (everyone)
If the app crashes, hits an error, or freezes for more than two seconds, it sends a report so we can fix the problem. A report contains technical details (the error, your device model, operating system and app version) and which screen, level and mode you were on. It never contains screenshots, your logs, your name or your email. Our crash-reporting provider also keeps a random installation code to count crash-free sessions; it is not linked to you or your account.
Your account (only if you sign in)
Signing in is optional and lets your progress follow you between devices. When you sign in, our sign-in provider stores the identity you sign in with (for example your email address), and we store your game progress: your stars, your Daily history, your hint and reveal balances, and your board-letters setting. We use these only to sync your game.
What stays on your device
If you play without an account, your progress, settings and in-progress puzzles are stored only on your device. Puzzle solutions never leave your device.

Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app: open Settings › Account › Delete account. This deletes your account and the progress synced to it on every device. Progress stored on your phone stays until you delete the app. You can also email support@nottouching.app to ask us to delete your data or to tell you what we hold about you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, and to object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, email support@nottouching.app. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law.
Children
Not Touching is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and signing in is optional. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, email us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
